Run Like a VIP and Help DFW Kids

The Uptown Five Mile is launching a partnership with a uniquely "Dallas" twist: a partnership with Matt Nordgren's Leadership Foundation. The Uptown Five Mile race is part of the

Matt Nordgren, one of the six fabulous stars of Bravo's Most Eligible Dallas, founded The Leadership Foundation (TFL) with the goal of empowering young athletes to become the best players they can be. In partnership with Dallas-based US Road Sports & Entertainment Group (USRS), the company behind the Dallas 13.1 Uptown Five Mile, TLF will offer a truly special VIP experience for all those who register at www.131dallas.com using TLF's special registration code: TLF2011.

The Leadership Foundation Uptown Five Mile VIP race experience will start with a special "golden bib" for all TLF registrants. All participants will be able to help TLF's cause by beating the "Leadership Foundation Leader" - a runner wearing a full tuxedo in honor of TLF's black-tie Leadership Gala. For every runner who beats the tuxedoed runner, a donation will be made to the Little Heroes Foundation.

All the festivities will wrap up with a post-race VIP reception and auction at TLF's VIP finish line tent. The Dallas 13.1 half marathon starts and ends at the AT&T Performing Arts Center after traveling through Uptown, Highland Park, the West End, and Downtown.

So, run like a VIP and help DFW kids!
