Most of you know, the RSVP Calendar blog is wild about TOMS Shoes and Founder Blake Mycoskie. We are super excited about One Day Without Shoes, to be held this year on April 5th. One Day Without Shoes is a day when people pledge to walk barefoot for the entire day to help raise awareness on individuals in developing countries that do this on a daily basis. And, by doing so, these individuals run the risk of acquiring soil-transmitted diseases, cold weather illness, to cuts that lead to often deadly infections each and every day. In support of this event, one of our beauty favorites- Essie - created a special polish "One Day Without Blues" to adorn your toes on your day without shoes. Though the Essie limited edition polish is already accounted for, it is wonderful to see such support for the growing event.
