Chefs for Farmers: No.2

Their first event was such a success that they are back for another great day and evening full of fun. Chefs for Farmers is taking their popular farm-to-table concept and now going "From the Table to the Ranch." This second event will benefit Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County.
The food will be superb, with a line-up of some of Fort Worth's finest: Jon Bonell of Bonnell's; Blaine Staniford of Grace; Michael Morabito of The Colonial Country Club Fort Worth; Dena Peterson of Cafe Modern; Dan Landsberg of Tillman's; Gwin Grimes of Artisan Baking Company and Zach Townsend of Pure Chocolate Desserts to finish the menu on a sweet note! Ryan Tedder, Sommelier of Grace will present the wine's being served. The farmers play such an important role in our community and this event will honor Dominion Farms, Tassione Farms, Burgundy Pasture Beef and Scott Farms.
Two different venues will set the wonderful mood for chefs, farmers and all who attend. The six-course menu will take place at Times Ten Cellars Fort Worth, a full production Texan winery with an ambiance to compliment the night. Start with cocktails and crisp slices of pizza by Il Cane Rosso followed by delectable dishes created with local farmers fresh ingredients.
Once you think you cannot take in anymore, head over to a true cutting horse ranch at Jim & Janet Lane's J Bar L Ranch for a proper, cozy bonfire. Gather amongst new and old friends, farmers, chefs, volunteers and the likes for homemade marshmallows by Tillman's Pastry Chef, Kim Smith and live music by Billy Blaze.
Come with an empty stomach and leave on a full note knowing you were supporting local Texan farmers, chefs, a fabulous organization and community. Eat and drink to that!
