The Limelight: Single Parent Advocate

Single Parent Advocate is committed to educating, equipping, and empowering Single Parent Families with resource information, practical assistance, emotional encouragement, and social networking such that families who need help get help – and others who want to help, can help.
Founding Director, Stacie Martin is a native and lifetime resident to Dallas. After her own divorce that was largely influenced by her husband’s addiction to drugs, Stacie has been a single mother to her son for 8 years and is committed to a positive, productive perspective. As it relates to Single Parent Advocate, Stacie is committed to turning her “mess” into a message of education, empowerment, and hope.

SPA acquaints families with common challenges and provides healthy perspectives, positive choice alternatives, and productive solutions via online and on site education to help them overcome their hurts. It offers a portal of help resources like food, clothing, and shelter solutions. It delivers entertainment ideas and discounts, legal aid, counseling and medical resources to heal homes, hearts, and hands. Alongside these are an online social platform and safe social events built around creating hope. This is a social network that supports safe socials, discounted entertainment, and other needs on a broad basis.

Come out and enjoy Carrollton’s new signature event, Festival at the Switchyard. Where else can you have this much fun for five bucks? Enjoy two days of family-friendly, community-centered fun and big-name entertainment. The Festival boasts an endless array of free kid’s games, rides, and activities that will keep them busy for hours on end. Don’t forget to visit your friends at SPA at the Kid Track Booth!
