Wipe Out Kids Cancer (WOKC) is a Dallas-based non-profit founded by Cindy Brinker Simmons in 1980 dedicated to funding childhood cancer research and supporting childhood cancer patients and their families.
WOKC has donated more than $3 million to fund childhood cancer research and also sponsors programs that provide hope and support for local childhood cancer patients and their families. In addition, we administer the Young Heroes Scholarship Program, for childhood cancer survivors attending college, funded by Texas Ranger infielder Michael Young and Cristina Barbosa-Young.
