Author and meteorologist Kristine Kahanek will take Haggard Library visitors on a fun-filled, educational weather adventure.
Kristine will discuss all types of weather and severe weather safety as she reads from her book, “Katie and the Magic Umbrella: A Stormy Adventure”
The event is open to all ages and includes a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.

Kristine Kahanek is a D/FW market veteran in television meteorology. Kristine has been reporting the weather for almost two decades, and most recently as the Chief Meteorologist with KTVT-TV, a CBS affiliate.
