The 2nd annual community-wide event is hosted by Frisco Reach Out, a cooperative effort of three local non-profit organizations—KingdomLife International, The Word Center, and Frisco Cares. The school supply giveaway helps underprivileged families in Frisco send their children back-to-school in style.
When: Saturday, August 14th from 8-10am (Doors open for registration at 7:30am.)
Where: The Word Center – 6th and Oak Streets – Frisco
The event will feature free school supplies, gently-used clothing for children in need, and affordable medical care.
Fees for medical services are:
· Physical $20
· Acute Illness Visit $10
· Immunizations (per injection) $10
Volunteers are also needed to assist on the day of the event. Cash, school supplies and gently-used, school-age clothing are needed. A complete list of suggested items is available here: http://friscoreachout.com/pdf/school2010-list.pdf
Businesses may contribute in-kind or financial donations. Donations can be made by calling 972-712-5574. All donations are tax deductible.
