The Community Partners of Dallas is pleased to announce the success of their 2010 Chick Lit Luncheon held at the Brook Hollow Country Club on April 29th. Ladies who lunched gathered to hear the famed and delightedly humorous author, Jen Lancaster speak about her past books including "Bitter is the New Black" and beginnings as comedic writer. The luncheon, presented by Dr. Robert and Lara Tafel, raised $144, 259. Community Partners of Dallas President and CEO Paige McDaniel said, "We are extremely thankful to our presenting sponsor, Dr. Robert and Lara Tafel, as well as all of the other generous donors and volunteers who helped to make this year's luncheon such a success." Now, begins the countdown to next year's luncheon!
