"Our mission is to promote, deliver, and expand the best child care services available outside the home." - The ChildCareGroup.The ChildCareGroup was founded in 1901 to care for the children of women who worked in the cotton mills of Dallas. Now, it is one of the most respected and all-encompassing non-profit organizations to provide quality child care for low-income working families. The ChildCareGroup provides programming, education, health screening, supervision and nutrition to those most in need.
Funding is provided by Head Start of Greater Dallas, Health and Human Services Administration for Children, Youth, and Families (Early Head Start), United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, parent fees, and private donations.
