Winter Hugs & Warm Soles Luncheon- 10/14

On Wednesday, October 14th, the Hearts & Hands Alliance will host their Winter Hugs & Warm Soles Luncheon. The luncheon will be held at the Northwood Club in Dallas and begins at 10:30am. The event benefits Wednesday's Child Benefit Corporation which helps bring hope and healing to foster children so they can overcome pasts of abuse and neglect and claim futures as confident, independent members of the community. As the number of foster children continues to increase, so does the need for additional awareness of their needs throughout the community.

The speaker on the 14th, is Chris Gardner, author of novel turned Blockbuster hit, "The Pursuit of Happyness."
