This Saturday, September 12th, marks the grand opening of the
Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House & Insectarium at the
Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park. To honor their grand opening, the Butterfly House & Insectarium is offering
half priced admission on September 12th and 13th! Walk down the lovely
walkway to the ground floor of the gardens to be immersed in beautiful and colorful butterflies with each step of your journey.

ribbon cutting Saturday at 9:45 am by WFAA’s Gloria Campos will kick off the weekend and admission to the Butterfly House will open to the public soon after. Children’s crafts by the Junior League of Dallas will entertain children both days. Join this new "organic urban oasis" which its ten different themed areas including: a buttefly habitat, native wildlife pond, scent garden, shade garden, and heirloom garden.
