Bridging the Trinity Party

Celebrate the construction of the stunning new Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge while listening to area musicians and munching on delicious treats and vodka-flavored snowcones from the Continental Bridge, the unique site for the Bridging the Trinity Party. This event, chaired by Lynn McBee will start at 7:30pm on Friday, September 25.


The internationally acclaimed and award-winning architect of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, Santiago Calatrava will be an honored guest at the event and will be there to talk about it. Joining him will be Mayor Tom Leppert and National Honorary Chairs U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison and Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. Mary McDermott Cook, Al Hill, Jr., Lyda Hill and Alinda Wikert are serving as Honorary Chairs.


Underwriting sponsorships are $500 to $5,000. Individual tickets are $150.


Proceeds will go to The Trinity Trust Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the community and raising private funds for The Trinity Project. The Trinity Project is one of the nation's largest urban developments. Plans include a whitewater course, two downtown lakes, ball fields, an ampitheater and hike and bike trails. It is a $2 billion public works project.
